  Borneolum is a white or opaque hexagonal crystalline flake. Boiling point 208 ℃ (levorotatory), 214 ℃ (dextrorotatory), relative density 1.011-1.020, miscible with ethanol and most essential oils. The aroma is cool and pungent, slightly medicinal, woody, and peppery. The aroma is elegant, with woody, slightly burnt and cool flavors.
  Extraction Method
  It is the resin of Dipterocarpaceae plant Dipterocarpus. Dry resin is collected from the cracks of the Dipterocarpus trunk and processed. Or cut down the trunk and branches, cut into pieces, and steam distilled and sublimated. After cooling, it becomes crystals.
