Jiangxi Jinggangyuan Natural Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd. was established in 2015. It is a high-tech enterprise that integrates research, planting, scientific research, production, and development of related derivative products of natural borneol raw material germplasm resources and seedlings.
The company's first production base is located in Chengxi Industrial Park, Jishui County (mainly for refining), covering an area of 23 mu, equipped with GMP workshops, quality inspection buildings, warehouses, office buildings, shift buildings, and other supporting facilities. It can currently produce 100 tons of refined natural borneol and 50 tons of borneol oil annually. The second-phase land is reserved at the first production base, which can duplicate a larger natural borneol refining production line, which can produce 1000 tons of refined natural borneol annually upon completion. The second production base can be regarded as a planting base (the main function is primary extraction, and the management is carried out in a closed loop according to the GMP management system). Currently, the company has two self-owned planting bases, with a total of more than 5,000 mu of camphor trees planted, and each is equipped with a natural borneol primary extraction production line. Among them, the planting base located in Dingjiang Town, Jishui County, has been named the "National Forest Under Economy Demonstration Base" by the State Forestry and Grassland Administration.
The company has unique technologies for planting camphor trees, extracting crude natural borneol, and the most advanced refining technology for natural borneol in the industry. The yield per mu of natural borneol is much higher than that of the same industry. The quality, production capacity, and cost control of its products are at the leading level in the industry. Our refining production process can produce products in 8-10 hours, which is superior to the traditional process which takes more than 72 hours, greatly improving production efficiency. The solvent is also different from the traditionally used solvent, which is more environmentally friendly and safer. The company has 1 invention patent and more than 20 utility model patents. In October 2024, the Ji'an Technology Service Station of the Jiangxi Provincial Pharmaceutical Society settled in our company. In 2023, the "National High-tech Enterprise" was successfully re-evaluated. In 2023, it was rated as a "Municipal Leading Enterprise in Agricultural Industrialization." In April 2024, the Registration Department of the National Medical Products Administration conducted a field survey of the development of the natural borneol industry. In November 2024, the company's project "Comparative Study of Natural Borneol (Dextro-borneol) and Borneol (Synthetic Borneol)" was selected for the "Revealing the List" project list of 2024 published by the Ji'an Municipal Science and Technology Bureau, and was selected by the Institute of Chinese Materia Medica, China Academy of Chinese Medical Sciences. In December 2024, the National Pharmacopoeia Commission adopted our company's 3 suggestions for the revision of the natural borneol drug standards in the 2025 version of the "Chinese Pharmacopoeia" which is about to be promulgated.

The company has established a research and development department, which has been cooperating with relevant colleges, universities, and scientific research institutions. The projects currently being cooperated with relevant colleges, universities, and scientific research institutions include:
◉Cooperation with Jinggangshan University to carry out the "Research on Standardized Planting Technology of High-Quality Camphor Trees" project initiated by the Jiangxi Provincial Administration of Traditional Chinese Medicine.
◉Cooperation with Jiangxi University of Traditional Chinese Medicine and the affiliated hospital of Jinggangshan University to conduct research on the "Borneol Oil Standard" project initiated by the China Chamber of Commerce for Import and Export of Medicines and Health Products.
◉Cooperation with the Research Room of Resource Protection and Industrial Economics of the Resource Center of Chinese Materia Medica, China Academy of Chinese Medical Sciences, to conduct "Feasibility Research on Restoring the Use of Natural Borneol".
◉Cooperation with the Jiangxi Academy of Sciences to conduct the "Discovery, Optimization, and Mining of Biosynthesis-Related Genes of Mosquito-Repellent Lignans in Camphor Trees Guided by Mass Spectrometry-Feature Molecular Network" project initiated by the Ji'an Municipal Science and Technology Bureau.
